On getting the LEAST amount done in the MOST amount of time

Hello Friends! Here are my best tips from my former and sometimes current self:

  1. Don’t think about the day ahead of you until you fall out of bed in the morning
  2. Hit snooze as many times as you can before rushing out the door. It is important to have zero time to yourself in the morning; this practice will also guarantee you to be a grump of a parent
  3. While at work, stop what you’re doing and immediately respond to each email the moment it enters your inbox
  4. Check your phone incessantly and start new text conversations right when you’re in the middle of a tough project. Also-immediately respond to all texts
  5. Check Facebook as often as possible, especially during transitions from one task to the next
  6. Paint your nails during conference calls so that you need to call colleagues and ask them about the salient issue that someone, somewhere was discussing
  7. Never use the Do Not Disturb feature on your phone. The more rings and dings that can interrupt your thoughts and your work day, the better
  8. Have a different journal for each area of your life. A minimum of 5 works best. This will be especially useful when you want to review that revolutionary idea you had, but you’re not sure which journalling system you were using at the time
  9. Make sure Facebook is on all your devices, most importantly your phone. This way, no matter where you are, or what you’re doing, you will be able to distract yourself from your own life by being entertained by everyone else’s
  10. Neither meal plan, nor grocery shop. The best time to start thinking about dinner prep is when your kids get home from school, everyone is hangry and the fridge is empty
  11. Be sure to watch as much Netflix as possible every evening…this will effectively increase your ability to use that snooze button
  12. Multitask. Everything.

Be bold and share your own tips out loud here, or be bold and private message me. I would love to hear from you!
