It is not therapy. If you don’t feel you are mentally well, please find a good therapist in your area. Life coaching is for individuals who are well enough to take action. In my definition of life coaching, although stories/experiences from the past are important, and will inevitably come up in our sessions, this is not our focus. Our focus will be your thoughts about those stories/experiences and how those thoughts influence your actions today. As a brief example, if you share with me the crappy things your ex-husband said to you 15 years ago, we will examine why you believe they are true, who you would be without those old beliefs running through your head, and what you want to choose to believe about yourself moving forward.

Although I can guarantee that you haven’t tried what I have to offer before, I think it is insane to guarantee someone weight-loss results. I can support you, but my intention is not to control you. My intention is for you to control your thoughts so you can control your actions, and thus control your results. In my experience, yes women do lose weight when they work with me. If you want to be model thin, I am not your gal. You will find pictures of me all over this website. I am not model thin, I do not strive to be. I am at a comfortable weight that feels natural for my stage in life. I am 41 and don’t expect to have the body I did when I was 16. Be sure your expectations of yourself are realistic. We can work through that. If you want to work gradually towards a weight that is natural and healthy for your stage in life and your body type, I can help you.
Although religious beliefs are highly personal, this is often something individuals want to know about me before entering into a coaching contract. I am a Christian. I attend church, I go to a weekly bible study, I volunteer. I respect all faiths and all belief systems and have experience working with women of many religious backgrounds. If you ask me to influence our coaching with my Christian beliefs and what I know to be true about God, I will. Other than that, if I feel I have something valuable to add to our session that has to do with my faith and my personal beliefs, I will ask your permission before sharing. I do not use my coaching platform as a means to influence individual religious beliefs.
I schedule a mid-week check in email for you, and encourage my clients to ask me their questions at this time. If you have a quick question, I do answer them between sessions and will get back to you within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. I do not answer emails on the weekend, I am spending time with my husband, our kids and our wiener dog. I work smart during the week. I relax and recharge on the weekends. I encourage you to do the same.
All of my calls are scheduled through my online scheduler. I do not accept unscheduled calls. If you have an immediate concern, please email me. I will respond to your e-mail within 24 hours, Monday-Friday.
I have yet to meet a woman who says, “You know what, Crystal? I’m just really not that busy. I don’t know how to spend my copious amounts of free time.” Everyone is busy. You don’t do the work, you are the one missing out. We will still proceed with the scheduled coaching call, but you may not get out of it what I intend for you. Busyness is simply an excuse. You have 30-60 minutes each week to take some time and space for yourself. If this is a concern for you, let me know up front, we can address this very quickly and very easily on our first call. Trust me, I will help you find the time. You have it.
This is not an issue. I work with women all over the world via phone, and occasionally via FaceTime or Skype. You choose your time zone on my online scheduler and schedule in a time that works for you in your time zone. I call you at the scheduled time. Problem solved.
Yes, I will be offering group (both live and online) events early in 2017. Please be sure to sign up for my newsletter so that you will be the first to know when I launch my live events . My goal is always to equip women with the tools they need to continue their work well after our sessions have come to an end. That being said, I will always accommodate more sessions for those who feel they need more. We will work through this on an individual basis.
My time is valuable, and so is yours. I do allow for changed appointments 24 hours before the session is to take place. If you are not available for our scheduled call, you will not receive a refund for that call, I will not rebook that session. I understand that sometimes we have emergencies that are beyond our control. I will review these situations case by case. You know when you are having a legit emergency and when you’re excusing your way out of not showing up to do the work. So do I.
I do not have a refund policy. My coaching programs are paid for in full, before our first session. You committed to investing in yourself, so I will hold you to that. You can’t drop out of your commitment by requesting a refund. You dig in, you do the work. You signed up to Flourish Into You, not to Dwindle Into The Same Old Crappy Patterns. Enough said. You get it. I know you do.
